Castillo de San Marcos
Social Media Internship

The Castillo de San Marcos participated in encouraging the knowledge of Climate Change within a historical context due to its location in the city. On social media, we encouraged our audience to be part of lectures within Ideas and Images hosted by Flagler College. I also attended many of these lectures in order to gain more knowledge on the topic.
This internship consisted of a combination of Strategic Communications and History. This media kit draft was constructed by myself and reviewed by my internship supervisor and was meant to stay in draft form until my supervisor was ready to have it accessible to the public. The idea behind this project was to educate me on the Castillo as well as to walk me through the steps of creating a media kit.
Castillo by Candlelight: Taking the Plunge, was the first major activity that involved execution and audience that I had ever been apart of . I was given a professional camera to shoot video for record maintaining purposes and was walked through the process of how the event was planned out.
